Shaping students future: Uniwhere

Uniwhere, the startup that wants to bridge the gap between education and employment, closes its first round of investment of € 500,000. We are happy to be among their international investors!

Uniwhere is the platform that creates a bridge between education and employment by offering students, on the basis of their academic profile, access to training opportunities hosted directly by companies, which help them to better get their first job. Uniwhere platform supports the students in defining the academic path: It suggests careers to which students can aspire, proposing additional training opportunities coming from the industry, giving access to the best job positions. On the other hand, it offers companies visibility on the best talents, offering proposals for training courses and profiled professional opportunities.

Uniwhere was founded by Gianluca Segato, Federico Cian and Giovanni Conz in Berlin. In 2016 it joined an incubation program in Berlin, Project Flying Elephant, hosted by WestTech Ventures, and in 2018 it opened its second office in Venice, where the management decided to place its development team. The app has now been downloaded more than 250,000 times, has been chosen by more than 150,000 university students and offers its service to 75 universities in Germany and Italy.

The Uniwhere founder, Gianluca Segato, commented: ”We are extremely proud of this vote of confidence from the market, and of being able to involve high-profile investors in such an ambitious project. We live in a period where it is increasingly difficult to be prepared for the job market and its demands. Uniwhere is a bridge between university education and the labour market, thanks to a powerful synergy between academic and industry preparations. We want to be the engine of opportunities for students and companies looking for talent.”
